Lordi • Currently: Research Professor of MAE at UB and CEO of Buffalo, BioBlower Technologies • 1994-1998: Executive Director of Calspan – UB Research Center • 1989-1994: Head, Physical Sciences Dept., Calspan • 1961-1989: Various positions at Calspan • Education: BS & MS in A&A, 1961, MIT; Ph. D. ME, 1968, University at Buffalo.

  6. Edward A. Starosielec • Consultant • former Transportation Sector President for Veridian Engineering • 35 years experience managing government sponsored programs applying technology-based solutions to defense, fed/civil, state/local as well as commercial markets. While at Veridian (formerly Calspan) he brought together several transportation related entities to form an organization that doubled its size to more than 200 people. He led the company’s initiative to address mobility and safety though the application of advanced technology to transportation systems resulting in more than $60 million in sales over the last decade. • Bachelors degree from Penn State, completed graduate work at UB • Co-authored and/or presented some 20 papers and presentations at various symposia at the national, state and local levels.
