  3. PAKISTANBACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION Very few workers are organised and represented by trade unions. A large number of Contract labour, child labour and bonded labour exist in significant numbers. Their conditions of work and living are quite bad. Existence of unorganized labour makes the trade union movement also very weak. Today the priority of Pakistan labour movement is to organize the unorganized workers. This will not only benefit the workers but also the Pakistan economy and the labour movement.
