  2. How Dangerous is it? How Dangerous is it? What Causes it? How many times do you think it’s happened? Some people think it is two extreme events. Volcanic lightning is two extreme events combined like volcanoes and cyclones. Volcanic lighting is more dangerous than either by themselves. Though, if you are on a volcano there is a better chance you will get burnt by lava. If you are in the ash cloud you will get struck by lighting. What Colors? “If you are caught on a golf course and are afraid of lightning hold up a one iron. Not even God can hit a one iron.” Lee Trevino. How to Learn More And Reply to this Article...

  3. What Causes It? How Dangerous is it? What Causes it? Volcanic lightning is caused by volcanic ash. First, all the volcanic ash is ejected into the sky and all the particles start out neutral. Second, during collisions some type of particles become charge relative to some other type. Third, differences in the aerodynamics of the particles separates the positive from the negative. Fourth, when all the difference in charge is too great, electrons flow. All that happens in the ash cloud to create volcanic lightning. How many times do you think it’s happened? What Colors? 4. How many times do you think it’s happened? How Dangerous is it? What Causes it? Volcanic lighting has been seen more than 150 times in the past two centuries. If you think it is once every eruption your wrong. It happens more than once every eruption. How many times do you think it’s happened? What Colors? How to Learn More And Reply to this Article...

  5. What Colors? How Dangerous is it? What Causes it? Yes, there are different colors of volcanic lightning. There is purple, white, red, orange, pink, green, and blue. Lightning can appear to be many different colors depending on what the light travels through to get to your eyes. In snow storms where is somewhat rare pink and green are often described as colors of lightning. Haze, dust, moisture, raindrops and any other particles in the atmosphere will affect the color by absorbing or diffracting a portion of the white light of lightning. You don’t have to worried about this unless you live close to a volcano. How many times do you think it’s happened? What Colors? How to Learn More And Reply to this Article...
