  4. Process of Communication • You will examine in the following two terms: • The purpose of communication • The process of communication • The benefits of good communication • The effects of poor communication • The barriers to communication

  5. Paper • You will examine how paper based communication is used, including: • Newsletters • Reportd • Leters • Memoranda • Notices • Pre-printed forms • Meetings; agendas & minutes • Basic Flowcharts and operating systems

  6. Electronic • You will learn how electronic communication is used, including: • Telecommunications systems • PA Systems • Networks, LAN (Intranet) and WAN (Internet) • Word processing • Spreadsheets • Databases • Desktop Publishing

  7. People • You will learn about the different methods of communication between people: • Meetings • Discussions • Their use in different business situations
