  2. So what is Rotary ? Rotary is a service organization with clubs in almost every nation on the planet. Rotary is defined by the fellowship of it’s members as well as it’s diversity. Opportunities abound for all our members. We live by Rotary’s 4 way test.

  3. Eugene Delta Rotary’s Fifth Test Will it be fun? Is it the truth? Is it fair to those involved? Rotary’s 4 Way Test Will it build Goodwill & Friendships? Is it beneficial to those involved?

  4. What does Rotary do? Here are just a few initiatives…

  5. Polio immunization and the Gates Foundation Polio - a disease that still paralyzes and sometimes kills children in part of Africa and South Asia.  Although polio is 99% eliminated, the final 1% is the most difficult. 

  6. Clean water projects The Place:GuatemalaThe Service Above Self Moment: As if pondering whether it’s drinkable, a Guatemalan boy inspects a cup of water made possible by Rotarians in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

  7. Disaster Relief After Hurricane Katrina, Rotarians coordinated the distribution of ShelterBoxes in Biloxi, Mississippi, USA..

  8. Vision The Place:Sri LankaThe Service Above Self Moment: Rotarians put good eyesight in focus as villagers line up during an Avoidable Blindness Program camp. Every month, club members and ophthalmologists provide vision screening and refer patients for cataract surgery.

  9. Rotary Foundation The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. The Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world.
