  2. Mean Girls Bible Study Rebecca Roberson and Myesha White are hosting a girls only youth bible study every Thursday, from 3-5:30 in the youth room. All high school aged girls are invited to attend and discuss the hardships of being a girl.

  3. GAME NIGHT Join us for our ASP Game night. WHEN: Friday, FEBRUARY 17th 6pm -8pm WHERE: Georgetown Hall COST: $5 per person Pizza and ice cream Let’s see what YOU’RE made of … do You have what it takes to take on ASP youth ?

  4. Dare 2 Share Will be leaving on Friday at 1:45. Kathleen will pick up the attendees at the Middle & High School parking lots. They will return to church by 11 a.m. on Sunday January 22nd. Please be sure to bring additional money for food.

  5. STRESSED OUT!!! Come out and join the group study: “STRESSED OUT!”. The group meets on Monday evenings from 7-9 p.m. This is a 7 week study meeting in the Library. For more info please contact Kathleen White at Kathleenwhite1@verizon.net

  7. Join us on Tuesday, February 7th, from 2-8 p.m. for our Blood drive in GTH

  8. The Youth are working to get new carpet for the Youth Room! So far they have raised, over $900, but they are still in need of $1200. Please check the Breeze way for needed donation items

  9. Sermon Series From Jan. 15-Feb. 19, Pastor Phillips will be presenting six sermons from the Gospel of Luke on “The Markers of Sanctification”.

  10. Appalachia service project ONLY 4 SPOTS REMAIN!!! It’s that time of year again! It’s time to start signing up for ASP! Sign-up on the sheet in the breeze way! PAPERWORK DAY/DEPOSIT ($200) DUE JAN. 29

  11. 2012 Offering Envelopes The 2012 Offering Envelopes are now available for pick up in GTH. Please inform Nancy Jones if you use online banking and no longer need envelopes or if you have never had envelopes and would like them.

  13. Chili Luncheon On February 5th from 12-2 p.m. the youth will be hosting a Chili Luncheon. Seats are $5 per person. This will serve as a fundraiser to the Youth Carpet Fund. Please plan on attending

  14. Join Us from 3:15-5:30 for our Wednesday Afternoon Youth Study (WAYS). All Middle School Age Youth are Welcome!

  15. Pathways All children in grades K-5 are invited to attend Pathways every Wednesday night from 7-8 pm

  16. Please Come out on January 29th and support the Youth as the lead the 11:00 service Service ^

  18. Adult/College ASP This summer, join our you adults/adults for a mission trip with ASP. The week is June 6, 2012 at the Chavies Housing Service Center of ASP. This date is specifically for college/adult groups. Submit the application to register at http://asphome.org/apply to volunteer. Adult rate is $325 per person. See Bryn Gibson for details.

  19. Please Join Us from 4-6 pm For Our Sunday Evening of Educated Disciples (SEEDS). All Youth High School Age Welcome!

  20. January Giving Tree Will be the Alan P. Linton, Jr. Emergency Cold Weather Shelter in Frederick. It is estimated that it takes $500 per night to operate the shelter. Stop by and pick u p a snow man from GTH!

  21. New Saddlebag Policy!We will no longer be sending out our monthly newsletter by mass mail. We will send it to you by email or you can pick up your copy on the table outside the sanctuary. Thank you!
