  8. Saturday March 24th • The post GGG brunch will be held in Dubai’s newest Irish Bar, McGettigans in the Bonnington Hotel, in Jumeirah Lakes Towers. • This will be the perfect chance to congratulate or commiserate on the previous day’s action with live music all day, and lots of banter in the Bar from 12pm onwards with McGettigans offering a special brunch deal. • This will wrap up a long week of action on and off the field, and we hope that you enjoy all that Dubai has to offer, and see you back at the Dubai Duty Free Gulf Gaelic Games in 2013!

  9. The GGG Nominated Charity • Boots for Africa is the 2012 Nominated Charity of the Gulf Gaelic Games. We encourage as many people as possible to donate to this excellent cause to provide underprivileged children in South Africa with sporting equipment. • In conjunction with SA Gaels, Dubai Celts hopes to send enough gear to Johannesburg’s poorest neighbourhoods and kick start Gaelic Games. Please get involved. See more on www.bootsforafrica.org

  10. Water • Every year there is a huge amount of wasted water, and plastic waste from sporting events. This year Dubai Celts hope to drastically reduce this by giving each player in a team, a water bottle which can be topped up at one of the many water points at the Sevens. • This will help to cut down on the environmental impact of the GGG without impacting on the sporting performance in the GGG.

  11. Tournament Rules • We will have fully qualified referees from Croke Park in Dubai for the event. The official Tournament Rules are as per the Asian Gulf Board (please see www.asiancountyboard.com for details). • Player Registration is AED 150 per player, AED 1800 per team. This is to be paid prior to the first game your club takes part in. • There will be medical facilities available on site with physiotherapists and paramedics. We have access to an ambulance for the day with the nearest hospital 20 minutes away from the Sevens. • Squads are limited to 9 a side from 12 players in the “A” competitions. Should a team wish to name 15 players in the “ B” and Social Competitions, they must nominate the 12 for each individual match.
