  1. crossroads Of decision

  2. We’ve seen The Broad Way and the Narrow Way And now stand at the crossroads

  3. YOUR LIFE & ETERNITY

  4. MEASURING YOUR LIFE IN THE LIGHT OF ETERNITY How does the pursuit of pleasure, possessions, power, or position look? What matters most in the here and now?

  5. Mark 8:36-37 36 What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? 37 Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

  6. The Apostle Paul with Eternity in his eyes “it’s all trash”

  7. PHIL 3: 7-14 But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.

  8. What if heaven was all that great stuff, but without Jesus, would you still want to be there?

  9. PHIL 3: 7-14 10I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. 12Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

  10. Come at me bro, Present suffering - Bring the pain Past - Eat my dust Future challenges - Hit me with your best shot

  11. The paradox of winning and losing. Winning!

  12. Mark 8:34-38 34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 35 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it. 36 What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? 37 Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? 38 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels."

  13. What direction will you choose? How will you live your live in the light of eternity?
