  3. Tools to help overcome .. • If you get upset, just count to 20 before you react. • If you feel that you can not control your feelings, find a space to calm down. • Learn to forgive those who hurt your feelings.

  4. More Tools.. • Never become violent, meaning never try to hit the other person. • Share your anger with a trusted adult and listen to his/her advice. • What can you change to help make the situation better?

  5. More Tools • If you are sick, like you feel weak or tired or have aches, talk to an adult in charge so that they may help you. It is wonderful to be healthy.

  6. More Tools • Find and make a good friend to you, who will support and encourage you especially when you feel down. • Remember that a friend in need is a friend indeed. Be a friend so you can make a friend

  7. More Tools • Say a prayer. Many people find their comfort in praying when they express their needs. • Remember that you are wonderfully created. You are special and you are loved.

  8. More Tools • Practice your favorite hobby, such as singing, reading or playing music. If you don’t have one, start looking for one and enjoy it..

  9. Stay cool! • It is important to always practice what we learn! • Review: There are many tools to help us handle stress while in control • In our next lesson we will review the previous 3 sessions. See you then.
