  1. Steps To Improve Security Of WordPress Site

  2. When we start designing and developing of the site, we might forget about the most significant feature that is security. WordPress security is the essential factor we will have to take for every single action that can affect the site. It is a critical process that should keep under the radar. Check and apply the following steps to keep the site safe from hacking.

  3. 1) Username & Password: They are the most sensitive part of every website that can be easily predictable and hence breach the security. Try various combinations of the date of birth, user’s name & other information. It is easier for you to remember simple passwords but it is too easier for the hackers to hack. So, avoid using predictable passwords for better security. 2) Use Security Plugins: Plugins are one of the essential elements of the website and work as a firewall through which the hackers need to pass to gain control over your site. There are some secure plugins available like Wordfence & iThemes.

  4. 3) Keep WordPress Updates Seriously: Don't ignore the updates that WordPress offers. It can be better for stability & security. Whatever be the reason for updates it will enhance user-experience even if the changes are not visible. 4) Take Backups: Taking regular Backups is one of the best ways to fight against the factors that can breach the security of WordPress website. Whether the issue is big, small or just a server issue, if a backup is available, a site owner can always restore to a secure and valid version of their WordPress site.
