  2. UMOM Mission Statement “Founded in 1964, UMOM is the largest homeless shelter for families in Arizona. We keep families together, we provide a continuum of care from emergency shelter to transitional housing and finally, permanent, affordable housing.   8. Our Experience at UMOM Shelter • Set up various toys and activities for the shelter children to play with • Played sports and engaged in physical activities with the shelter kids such as basketball and jump rope • Helped clean up and organize the youth area

  9. Our Experience at uMOM Shelter Social Impact • Played games/sports with 25+ children • Organized/Rearranged the donation cage • Ensured a safe environment for the children
