  2. أبو بكر الصديق • His life before Islam: Abu Bakr's full name was Abd Allah ibn 'Uthman ibn Aamir ibn Amr ibn Ka'ab ibn Sa'ad ibn Taym. Abu Bakr was born in Mecca some time in 573 CE, to a rich family in the Banu Taym clan of the Quraysh tribe The lineage of Abu Bakr joined that of Muhammad in the eighth degree in their common ancestor Murrah ibn Ka'b. Abu Baker pray once to the idols when his dad told him to, he did, but when the idol never gave him what he asked, he never pried again to the idols.

  3. His Converting to Islam • On Abu Bakr’s return from a business trip from Yemen, he was informed by friends that in his absence, Muhammad had declared himself the Messenger of God, and proclaimed a new religion. He believed him and he was the first man to be Muslim. • His wife Qutaylah bint Abd-al-Uzza did not accept Islam and he divorced her. His other wife, Um Ruman, became a Muslim. All his children except Abdu'l-Rahman ibn Abu Bakr accepted Islam, and Abu Bakr separated from his son Abdu'l-Rahman. • he purchased eight slaves (four men and four women) and then freed them, paying 40,000 dinar for their freedom who were Muslims.

  4. His khalafah • Abu Bakr was the first khalifa after death of the prophet Muhammed. • His khilafa continued nearly two years and four months. • His khalafh was over many arabic countries like Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Bahrain, Oman and more.

  5. His Death • On Monday 23 August 634, Abu Bakr died. Abu Bakr fell sick and did not recover due to his old age. The funeral prayer was led by Umar. He was buried the same night by the side of Muhammad's grave in Aisha's house near Al-Masjid al-Nabawi

  6. علي ابن ابي طالب • Ali belonged to the clan of banu hashim, the most distinguished clan in all Arabia; and in Banu Hashim, he belonged to the most distinguished family – the family of Abdul Muttalib. • Ali’s father was Abu Talib ibn ‘Abd al-Muttalib, and his mother was Fatima bint Asad, he had three brothers which were Ja`far ibn Abī Tālib,  Aqeel ibn Abi Talib, and Talib ibn Abu Talib. • His wife was Fatimah, which was the daughter of Muhammad (PBUH).

  7. Ali’s Converting to Islam • Ali ibn Abi Talib was the first male to convert to Islam, a favorite cousin and son-in-law of Muhammad (PBUH).Ali was the last caliph after Muhammad’s (PBUH) death. • Before Ali became a Muslim, he hated the prophet. When his family was starting to become Muslims he was planning to kill the prophet. When Ali went to the prophet, he told him about Islam, and Ali became a Muslim.

  8. His khalifah • Ali was the caliph between 656 and 661 CE which was one of the hardest periods in Muslim history that coincided with the first Muslim civil war. • Ali was the last caliph after Muhammad’s (PBUH) death (the fourth one). • His khalifah years were the hardest khalifah years since Muhammad's death because of the civil war.

  9. His Death • Ali died in January 27, 661 AD. • His grave was close to the prophet’s. Next to the Masjed al-Mabaui
