  7. CEO Challenges in 2009

  8. Conclusions (1/2) After two years of exercise as CEO, it appears that there is a lot of (too much) work for a single man a year contains only …. 25 week-ends or so due to frequent travel !! Need to release partially the CEO from time-demanding secretarial tasks (e.g. update of CEOS GEO Actions status table)to spend more time on more strategic issues. CEO’s tasks and responsibilities for 2010 to be clearly defined with CEOS Chair and SIT Chair Close cooperation with both Chairs during their terms Good knowledge of their expectations and strategic visions

  9. Conclusions (2/2) Current CEO’s term ends in Dec. 2010, following the GEO 2010 Ministerial Replacement to be identified in the course of 2010 Smooth transition needed between current & future CEOs ….. ANY CANDIDATE ?

  10. CEO on Mission … Impossible !!!

  11. Thanks …. Great motivation among staff from CEOS Agencies and very positive support from CEOS Principals !!! Many thanks to all of you (CEOS Chair team, CEOS SIT team, CEOS, GEO SEC and all others including the …. Virtual Constellation Trade Union led by Stan ) for making my task as easy as possible ….
