  4. Transport: • - Prague is the largest transport crossroads in Czech republic • - The biggest international airport Ruzyně handle over 5mil. travellers/year • -metro(50km subways) • -Railway lines, roads and highways from different directions meet here

  5. SURFACE: • -Prague lies on the plateau ofPoberounské Projection System • situated on the banks of the Vltava River • -centre of the city lies in a valley created by the erosion of river activities • -the 20 century: Prague began to grow beyond the Central Bohemian foothills.

  6. Climate: • mild climate • more polluted air ( more heat) • Prague is more than 0,5 °C warmer than its surroundings • Prague has 470mm less rainfall per year

  7. WATERS: • Height difference is about 11 metres • Possibility of sailing and boating • The Vltava in Prague is 23 km long
