  6. Candidates are assessed on their ability to: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of media concepts, contexts and critical debates, using terminology appropriately. Apply knowledge and understanding to show how meanings are created when analyzing media products and when evaluating their own practical work. You Will: • engage with contemporary media technologies and products. • produce a media campaign through a combination of three media (video, print and website) • detail the process of the research, planning and production of in a blog format. • show appropriate evidence of research and planning. • Finished products and creative critical reflection

  10. Decide on and research into target audience, with evidence in your blog. You should find and display this evidence in questionnaires and graphs. • Research existing media practice and products of comparable. Deconstruct products and finding meanings using key media concepts and codes & conventions. • Extensive study into similar Genre. How elements are put together to create meaning and specific style. • Keen Image analysis critically observing cinematography, mise-en-scene and editing techniques. Research

Action plan your organisation of time, equipment and people. • Draw drafts of your production and include all evidence of planning and drafting . • Design a flat plan or storyboard/script and mood board to show you understand the conventions of your chosen medium. • Take photographs to evidence paper planning. For example initial ideas, scripting and shot listing. • Provide a sample of original images/footage that you took and annotate around the images/footage why you did/did not use them. • Take photographic evidence of locations/ shooting process / castings to upload to the blog. Use established forms and conventions to produce a recognisable and meaningful piece of media. • Produce a product that is appropriate to the target audience. • Show skill and ability in the use of the technology and equipment needed to produce the product. • Show evidence in a variety of formats (photographs/ graphs / diagrams / presentations / DVD extras) Do NOT just rely on the written word. • Submit • Explore various technologies in Editing/Post-Production and elaborate your experience online. • Appropriate use of media vocabulary to communicate.   13. The emphasis to be upon creative use of tools to critically reflect on the work, guided by the following compulsory questions: 1. How do your products use or challenge conventions and how do they represent social groups or issues? 2. How do the elements of your production work together to create a sense of ‘branding’? 3. How do your products engage with the audience and how would they be distributed as real media products? 4. How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?
