  2. Who is Helen? • Helen runs a baking business • She is a mother of 3 • Budget is a concern • Her children will want to use her computer • She needs to be able to advertise her goods with her computer • She needs to use her computer for Facebook and email

  3. Recommended computer • ACER Aspire V3 • www.Futureshop.ca • This computer would be great for Helen because it is fairly inexpensive but it’s a great quality computer. It has a large hard drive that will be great when Helen wants to save pictures and create ads for her business.

  4. Chip • The brain of the computer • It does the calculations • It is measured in GHz • The recommended computer has 2.2 GHz • The fast chip speed would be good for Helen so she can post her ads quickly

  5. Ram • Ram means Random Access Memory • It holds work in progress • Measured in GB • The recommended computer has a 6GB ram • Having 6GB of RAM is useful for Helen because it means she can do more work.
