  9. Structure of the FLRP Program

  10. Program Information • Program length: Approximately 9 months • Two, one-week non-consecutive classroom sessions • Week One - 36 hours - Lessons 1-4 • Week Two - 32 hours - Lessons 5-8 • Shadow Assignment • Acting Manager Assignment

  11. Pre-Class Activities • Program welcome letters • Pre-class conference call • Skillsoft online courses • Three other online courses (APM, ER/LR, MAEEO) • DISC assessment • Seven Habits chapter – Books 24x7 • Manager involvement

  12. Week One Classroom Session • Transitioning from an employee to a manager/leader • DISC - threaded throughout the program • Leadership Competencies • Communicating as Leaders • Teamwork/Teambuilding • Introduction of Journal

Six-Month Interim Period Between the Classroom Sessions in Weeks One and Two • Monthly Table Team Conference Calls • Reading Assignment on Crucial Conversations book • SkillSoft online courses • Centra or Classroom session on topic of remote management • Shadow Assignment – 2 weeks • Acting Manager Assignment – 60 days • Coaching and Mentoring

  14. Week Two Classroom Session • Introduction to performance management • Problem solving • Coaching employees • Time management • Goal setting • Commencement

  15. Post-Class Activities • Class reunion conference call • End of program and final certification
