Trainee - Learning & Development Catapult is a learning & assessment tool developed for HDFC AMC Trainees Objectives: • To ensure understanding of the Asset Management business • To ensure understanding of HDFC AMC’s business • Provide fair assessment of performance • Provide a platform for feedback to ensure success at HDFC AMC

Exposure to different Markets Each Trainee would go through… • Training Posting– initial indirect experience for a period of 3 - 6 months to get an understanding of the business.. • Final Posting– on the job training to hone skills and get an exposure to the inter linkages in business processes.. Exposure to different markets is the key to success here! Hence, Trainees are rotated to different locations.

Profile of the role HDFC AMC is looking for energetic young professionals to propel growth : • Of its Mutual Fund business & develop MF professionals to lead its various business channels During the training period, there is opportunity to get exposure in : • Investor Services & Operations • Branch Management • Retail & Institutional Sales

Profile of the role (cont’d) Trainees are expected to develop deep insights in business : • To understand the functioning of Regional offices & Branch offices • Selling of MF products through • Individual financial advisers, • Regional & national distributors, banks etc. • Working on business expansion projects • Developing understanding on Investments & Financial Planning • Servicing Investors • Sales Support & Branch Operations

Preference for applicants who have… • Have minimum 55% aggregate scoring in the 1st year • Have prior work experience in the BFSI sector • Have completed a project with an AMC • Are NISM Certified • Have completed any of the NCFM modules • Are currently pursuing MBA with Finance as major/minor. • Are currently pursuing MBA with Marketing specialization and have an understanding of Financial concepts. • Are mobile between locations (refer to next slide)
