Ltd. offers Zero Liquid Discharge System (ZLDS) which is highly cost-cutting, environment friendly in nature. It is a system consisting of a stripper column for removal of organic volatiles from the feed stream. It does so because subsequently when the water gets evaporated, it should have less organics left as residue. ZLD System also consist Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE) with a thermo- compressor for achieving energy economy, and a downstream Sludge Dryer for removing the balance water, converting the solids into a dry powder which is cheaper and easier to dispose. The well-designed system saves operating and disposal costs and minimizes scaling in the evaporators.   2. Zero Liquid Discharge System (ZLDS) is an industrial waste water treatment setup which ensures that there is no discharge of waste water in the environment! ZLD technology includes pre-treatment and evaporation of the industrial waste until the waste forms solid crystals. These crystals are then removed and dehydrated. However, water vapour from evaporation is condensed and returned to the process. ZLD plants produce solid dehydrated waste which is also called as crystal wastes in the industrial terms. Hence, Zero Liquid Discharge is an environment friendly technology which is highly recommended for industrial and other mechanical utilities as it saves a lot of their money. Also, no discharge, no effluent, means that it is contributing hugely to the socio-ecological aspect of the society. Also, if there are any severe water scarcity issues in the areas where your company is situated then Zero Liquid Charge System is a must. For your information, Tamil Nadu Government has made the Zero Liquid Discharge Unit a compulsory thing to have for all industries in the state for the sake of an industrial waste water treatment. No industry there can now run without having ZLD installed. No surprise that the industries there in Tamil Nadu have agreed that they are benefiting out of the ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) actually. As a lot of waste gets recycled and hence the need of material is now comparatively lesser for operating the same procedure. Features of ZLDS: • 50% less power required. • 70% less energy required. • 200% improvement in descaling cycle. • Multiple Effect Evaporatorand thermos-compressor reduce steam consumption. • Minimum power requirement due to the use of axial flow pumps. • Stripper isolates volatile organics to reduce COD (Cost of Disposal). • Sludge dryer converts TDS to dry powder. • Modular skid mounted systems reduce the site activity to a few weeks. Applications of ZLDS: • Concentration of effluent (waste) water having high TDS. • Concentration of organic and inorganic solutions bearing salts. • Evaporative crystallization. • Drying of sludge for obtaining easy to dispose solids. • Treatment of large quantity of waste water with steam economy.
