Collaboration on Research Needs Statement development • a committee working on a RNS can use this info to see what other committees to involve in discussions or review of drafts  • no active facilitation involved - just make committees aware of this info (committees may want to identify additional interest areas for themselves) 2. Collaboration on Calls for Papers • cross-committee group works together to draft a call for papers on a topic of common interest, identified using the provided information • this group could be facilitated by the section research coordinator or could be self-formed at the initiative of committee(s) 3. Section Annual Research Focus Area(s) • the section defines priority research themes and organizes compilation of lit reviews, online discussions, collaborative session(s) etc. • this would mirror the annual TRB conference theme idea 4.
