Day 1 Draft agenda • 12.30 – 1.30 p.m. Buffet Lunch at Eurandom • 1.30 a.m. Meeting Start • Welcomes and Introductions • Introduction of New Members: University of Pavia, Italy and Nottingham Trent University, UK • (Paolo Guidici & Christopher McCollin) • Notes of the last Meeting held in Rimini, Italy • Matters Arising – DJS ‘issues’ • 2.15 Coffee to be served • 2.30 – 4.00 p.m. Work Package Groups – breakout discussion and demonstration of software WP1 and WP3 (more time could be allocated here if necessary) • 4.00 – 5.00 p.m. Feedback from Work Package Groups

Day 2 Draft agenda • 9.30 a.m. Meeting Start • Summary of discussions held at Work Package Meetings (WP Leaders) • Work in Progress • 11.00 a.m. Coffee to be served • Future Plans and Events (incl. DEINDE and ESREL) • 12.30 – 1.30 Lunch at Eurandom • Participation and arrangements for Barcelona Pro-ENBIS and ENBIS ISI Conference. • Sixth Framework (Dave Stewardson) • Meeting close at 3.00 p.m.

  4. Friday Dinner 8.00 p.m. Bistro ‘t Elfde Gebod The Saturday meeting will be followed by an ENBIS Council meeting, to be held at the same venue from 3.00 – 5.00 p.m. (see separate agenda from Tony Greenfield)

  5. Deliverables Reporting The Kipling Six What? Where? Who? When? Why? How?

Deliverables • Protocols for papers • Must have at least two network authors • Practical - case studies – e.g - QERI - Statistician • Only Journal papers count as deliverables! • Conference papers are an ‘extra’ • You HAVE to send a copy to us before submittal! • You MUST use the pro-Enbis statement

Deliverables II • Protocols for visits • Must have at least two network partners INVOLVED • MUST send us a one page report – • Attendees – what was done/discussed? • What, When, Where, Who, Why, How? • Results – what was the outcome? • Without this info it doesn’t count as a deliverable and you cannot claim the costs from the project!!

  8. Deliverables III • Protocols for Seminars • Must have at least two network partners INVOLVED • MUST send us: • A copy of the presentation! You MUST use the pro-Enbis statement on the material • List of attendees, who, what, where, when, etc. • Without this info it doesn’t count as a deliverable and you cannot claim the costs from the project!!

  9. Deliverables IV • Protocols for Workshops • Must have at least two network partners INVOLVED • MUST send us: • A copy of the materials! You MUST use the pro-Enbis statement on the material – flyers - web • List of attendees, who, what, where, when, etc. • Without this info it doesn’t count as a deliverable and you cannot claim the costs from the project!!

  10. Deliverables V • Aims and Objectives of Industrial Visits • Taster sessions • Starting Research projects • Familiarisation Visits • Best - Practice visits • Starting Regional networks • To get involved with Industry!

  11. Deliverables VI Articles in Popular Press Popular means – newspapers – magazines engineering press – human interest – anything not academic. Can be National – Regional – Local If you write a good one – we can translate it into other languages!

  12. If you want to use pro-Enbis funding to travel • There must be a pro-Enbis objective met by the meeting • A deliverable (industrial visit – seminar – paper) • A meeting to prepare a deliverable • A report on the meeting (Kipling six) • Or it will be discounted! So if you want to go to a conference – arrange to deliver something while you are there! Or pay for the trip yourself

  14. So • Send us the meeting – visit - reports • Copies of papers • Copies of presentations • We need these for our records – reports – and for the Commission • We will be assessed in the Autumn
