  2. Summary of the Alternative School for from August 2010-May 2011 39 students were serviced by the Commander Academy 231 credits earned 18 students graduated from the Commander Academy. Of the 18 graduates, eleven of the students were seriously in danger of becoming a high school dropout.

  3. Changes to the Alternative School for 2011-2012 Working with MS. Arnold and ATC to offer career classes for our alternative students Washington County will have 8 students working in the Health Services Career. They will be taking a class each trimester in the Health Services Area. We have 2 students in the Automotive Career. They will be taking classes each semester.

  6. Dropout Facts for 2009-2010 6,225 students dropped out across the state in 2009-10. State Dropout average is 3.19. The 2008-09 average was 3.30. Washington County’s dropout rate went from 1.84 in 2008-09 to 0.34 in 2009-10.
