Joint decision between VCS and service providers as a priority within LAA Safer and Stronger block. Top sliced from total budget before commissioning. Small grants budget of 50k over 2 Yrs - Community groups through a capacity building process. Outcomes linked to safer and stronger block. In recognition of the importance of small grants to stimulate civic renewal and engagement. Activity has to build capacity ! Commissioning pot of 95k Yr 1 120k Yr 2 – Important for organisations wanting to move to next level to deliver services. Exclusions economic, environment and training. Up to 2k but could be larger. Opposition until agreed that everyone could apply to it e.g. private and statutory partners. Criteria linked to NRF and LAA priorities.
