Important points to consider when preparing for evaluation/ revalidation Prior to the Event Plan ahead Understand the key roles to be undertaken by: • The Chair of course planning/ Course Director • The Partner Institution • The relevant Academic Department in Ulster • The Academic Office • The Partnership Manager

  4. The panel meeting • Roles and responsibilities • The external panel members – their area of expertise • The student perspective • The panel’s report • The course team’s response • Document approval and sign off • Changes to the programme following initial approval CA3

The Partnership Handbook • Contains all the important information and documents for the evaluation and re-approval of programmes • For Foundation Degree programmes evaluation needs to be considered in the context of the parent course • All Fd programmes must have a progression route (condition of approval)
