  3. We are, by astronomical standards, a pampered, cosseted, cherished group of creatures. If the universe had not been made with the most exacting precision, we could never have come into existence. 5. -- Abraham Lincoln; adapted.

  6. -- Nobel laureate Arno Penzias.

  8. -- Arthur L. Schawlow, Professor of Physics at Stanford University, 1981 Nobel Prize in physics.

  9. As we survey all the evidence, the thought insistently arises that some supernatural agency—or, rather, Agency—must be involved. Is it possible that suddenly, without intending to, we have stumbled upon scientific proof of the existence of a Supreme Being? Was it God who stepped in and so providentially crafted the cosmos for our benefit? -- George Greenstein, astronomer.

  10. -- Author unknown. A heathen philosopher once asked a Christian, “Where is God?” The Christian answered, “Let me first ask you, ‘Where is He not?’” -- Aaron Arrowsmith.

  11. All I have seen teaches me to trust the Creator for all I have not seen. -- David Brandt Berg. There’s nothing that’s ever without significance or without meaning. -- Author unknown.

  12. Every life is a fresh thought from God to the world. -- Viola Walden; adapted.
