General Description The Semester in Buenos Aires is designed for sophomores, juniors, and seniors, regardless of major, who want to improve their working knowledge of Spanish. Students will reside with Argentine families and attend classes at the University of Belgrano. GSE (Global Student Experience) is the program provider, but works very closely with UD. Dates: July 18 – November 11, 2014

Belgrano is a leafy, northern barrio of the city of Buenos Aires.
The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Belgrano, Buenos Aires has a humid subtropical climate, abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps. These climates have an average temperature above 10 °C (50 °F) in their warmest, and a coldest month average between −3 and 18 °C (27 and 64 °F).
Courses • 12 credits minimum • All course transfer to UD seamlessly • All courses have a UD equivalent • 38 courses in 12 departments • All grades transfer to US grading system • Courses taught in Spanish AND English

Prerequisites • 2.8 GPA • Two Spanish courses at 200-level or equivalent • UD OSC approval • Submit completed application on time (March 15) • Interview w/FLLT faculty • Attend all meetings (April & May)
