  2. Why Attend Every Service? Introduction Some Christians attend every service of the church whenever possible • They are present for Bible study on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. • They attend both Sunday morning and evening worship services.

  3. Why Attend Every Service? Introduction Some Christians attend every service of the church whenever possible • When the church has a Gospel Meeting, they attend each service. • They frequently attend Gospel Meetings at other congregations.

  4. Why Attend Every Service? Introduction • Only once on Sunday, and that sporadically. • Do not participate in the Bible studies. • Are not present for most services during local meetings. Other Christians Attend Infrequently

To Fulfill God’s Commands “Not forsaking Our Assembling…” (Hebrews 10:25) N E G A T I V E L y • The word forsake. • Vine - enkataleipoµ (ejgkataleivpw,(1459), from en, in, and No. 1, denotes (a) to leave behind, among, leave surviving, Rom. 9:29; (b) to forsake, abandon, leave in straits, or helpless. • 2 Timothy 4:10—not leaving behind, leaving in the lurch. While one may not totally abandoned assembling with other Christians by attending only once a week, he has left the work and duties given to all Christians to others thus, neglecting his/her share of responsibility.

(Ephesians 4:15,16) • Visiting the sick and the shut-ins, helping the needy, teaching the lost, strengthening the weak… • A church is no stronger than the collective strength of its members. • Do you want the church to grow? The Local Church Needs Workers
