  4. Case 1. ONE Vanishing Point • S. Miniato al Monte (Florence). • The vertical lines are vertical in the image also, the horizontal lines converge into a V.P. • The rectified image, where the ratio base/height is not correct (see the two circles aside the central window).

  5. Florence – S.Miniato al monte – The original image taken from a book and the rectified one with one V.P. In the books of architecture the images have the vertical edges of the buildings, vertical in the images too.
