  9. Septic Calcaneal Bursitis • Synovial fluid analysis – consistent with severe suppurative inflammation • Arthroscopy of left calcaneal bursa for lavage and debridement • Trauma results in hemorrhage and inflammation • Penetrating wounds are common • Sequela – tendon adhesions within bursa
