  2. Workshop Chair • Rick Kam, ID Experts • Serves as primary spokesperson regarding initiative • Plans, schedules and chairs meetings of the Advisory Committee • Provides direction / assistance to Subcommittees as needed • Identifies promotional opportunities to provide visibility

  3. Advisory Committee - Composition Chair and Staff Premium Sponsors DriveSavers Data Recovery, Inc. Partner Sponsors Affinion Group, Center for Identity Management and Information Protection at Utica College, Europ Assistance USA, ID Experts, ZOHO ManageEngine Subcommittee Co-Chairs Invited others who actively engage from industry, government, academia, consumer / public interest organizations, healthcare organizations, standards developers, et al.

Advisory Committee - Roles Provides overall planning and strategic direction for the initiative including the creation of Subcommittees Identifies candidates to serve as Subcommittee co-chairs Hears periodic reports on progress from Subcommittees Ensures project remains on schedule Identifies / recruits experts as panel participants

  5. SubCommittees Where the work gets done . . . Participation open; decisions based on consensus Identify risk levels, standards, guidelines, and best practices that already exist, that are in development, or that are needed (gaps) Highlight significant issues of concern and develop recommendations for addressing these issues Shall be responsible for drafting / delivering their sections of the report, with appropriate support from staff, in accordance with established timelines

  6. Staff Provides day-to-day administration Maintains document libraries, member rosters, email distribution lists; schedules meetings / teleconferences; supports Advisory Committee and Subcommittees, etc. Marketing / outreach to recruit sponsors and participants Develops communications relating to the project in consultation with chair / communications staff Responds to inquiries from interested parties / media Compiles, edits, publishes, disseminates final report
