  3. Sheesha The word Sheesha is derived from the Persian word shīshemeaning glass.

  4. Sheesha refers to the flavoured tobacco used in the smoking process using a hookah The tobacco is soaked in fruits shavingssuch as apples, grapes and strawberries.

  5. Theory Sheesha smoking has become fashionable over the last decade in Islamabad. A large number of university students of both gender spread across Islamabad in evening to shisha houses. Sheesha houses are increasing massively Influx of vehicles filled with boys and girls, standing outside Sheesha bars in the evening

  6. Hypothesis The rate of sheesha smoking in Islamabad is rapidly increasing as fashion among university student of 17 to 22 year age group belonging to elite and middle class socio economic background.

  7. Method The instrument researcher using is questionnaire.

  8. Procedure • The researcher go through students of Art and Design, Management sciences, Social sciences and Computing and Technology department of Iqra, university students and fill questionnaire from them. The researcher collect the questionnaire and tabulated the result by using percentage formula.

  9. Result 70% respondents’ prospective show that rate of sheesha smoking is increasing as fashion. 75% respondents prospective show age group from 17 to 21 more involved in smoking sheesha. . 45% respondent prospective show that sheesha smoking is increasing among elite class. 35% prospective show sheesha smoking is increasing in middle class.

  10. Discussion The result shows that hypothesis has been approved . Overall 71.66 present respondents prospective support the hypothesis 29.44 percent prospective is against the hypothesis. Respondent’s prospective show that rate of sheesha smoking in Islamabad is increasing as fashion among university student of 17 to 22 year age group belonging to elite and middle class socio economic background.
