  2. Soil Profile O Horizon is a primary composed of organic matter. O stands for organic. It’s on the top. A Horizon has earthworms and plant roots in it. E Horizon has clay and gravel in it. B Horizon is a subsoil and has clay in it. C Horizon is broken rock. R Horizon is all rock.

  3. Soil Types and Textures • Peaty- decayed soil • Chalky- stones • Sandy- biggest particles • Silty- most fertile • Clay- less air space

  4. Erosion Erosion is caused by people,ice,gravity,wind,and water. People cause erosion by people skipping and kicking rocks into water. Ice causes erosion by glaciers making wholes in the rocks. Wind causes erosion by wind pushing partials into the water. water causes erosion by water getting into water and making holes get biger.
