These activities will leverage the network of contacts and key speaker of Microsoft and Microsoft partners as well as the public partners. Subjects proposed are both technological and business (among other on new emerging business models) but are typically at the edge of innovation and therefore generaly uniquely available in the MIC’s. • “Innovate” : Encourage effective applied innovation on these new technologies by launching Call for projects linked to business opportunities. These “call for projects” encourage the mutualization of high competent technological resources for the benefit of a few local IT companies to accelerate the understanding and adoption of new technologies. This mutualization of resources, combined with business opportunities, have demonstrated the ability to stimulate local usage innovation in many other MIC’s ww. • “Entrepreneurship” : Support IT startups launch by organising startups boostcampsspecifically targetted to the IT sector and the sharing of IT business best practices, in collaboration with local players in the support of business stimulation.Other MIC’s Partners may play a critical role in the success of boostcamps (see inline special topic on partners type)
