  12. Q: Which Xperia™ products are supported (migration to) by Xperia™ Transfer Mobile? A: Any Xperia smartphone with Android OS 4.3 (JB MR2). Q: Where can I find Xperia™ Transfer Mobile? A: Xperia Transfer Mobile is currently only downloadable from Google Play on the following link: http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonymobile.xperiatransfermobile Q: Is the Xperia Transfer cable a special product that can only be used with Xperia Transfer Mobile? A: No, the Xperia Transfer cable is a standard USB host cable and can be used to fulfill other use-cases/connect accessories together with Xperia. Q: Why is the cable needed for iPhone transfer? A: The only possible way to establish communication (pair) with an iPhone is through USB, the cable connection is faster but not mandatory for the actual transfer of data and content.   13. Q: Do I need to login somewhere in order to use Xperia™ Transfer Mobile? A: Internet connection (Mobile/Wi-Fi) and access to Google Play is needed on your old(Android)/new device in order to download the application from Google Play. For iPhone migration, internet access is also needed for the application matching service. Q: Will there be a separate Xperia Transfer Mobile section on our homepage ? A: Yes a complete Xperia Transfer site will be released during week 6, www.sonymobile.com/xperiatransfer/ Q:What transfer speeds can I expect using Xperia Transfer Mobile?   14. Q: Are there any restrictions when it comes to battery charge levels? A: When transferring from iPhone over USB, Xperia have to be charged above 50% (iPhone is charged when connected over USB), when doing wireless transfer 25% is required. Q: Do we plan to communicate this experience through retail? A: Yes, ISX team have created assets, seeding kit dedicated to Xperia Transfer desktop/mobile. Q: Can I migrate iPad to Castor via Xperia Transfer Mobile? A: Not in current version, plans exist to add support as a next step. Q: Can I migrate my iPhone applications to Sony Xperia? A: Yes, Xperia Transfer Mobile supports application matching service which was introduced with Xperia Transfer desktop. Q: How about paid applications? A: Many paid iOS apps are free or have free corresponding apps on Google Play, Xperia Transfer Mobile will only suggest free Google Play applications in this release.   15. Q: Will Xperia Transfer Mobile replace Xperia Transfer desktop (PC/MAC)? A: In some cases it will as it offers a better UX. Xperia Transfer on PC/Mac offers migration from older Android products (Android 2.1) and from Blackberry, so one could say that Xperia Transfer consists of three co-existing channels (PC/Mac/Mobile). Q: I have lots of applications on my old Android phone, will these migrate to Xperia? A: In fact, Google Play will help you to retrieve any compatible applications to your new Xperia. Just make sure that your old Android phone is backuped with Google. If you don’t want to backup, you can always visit http://play.google.com on your computer and login with the same account as on your Xperia, there you can select and install any compatible applications to your new Xperia. Q: When transferring content wirelessly from iPhone, Xperia Transfer Mobile pauses the transfer, why? A: When running on battery, iPhone only support wireless transfer when the screen is turned on or when charging, connect the iPhone to a charger and the wireless transfer will resume. Q: What happens if I transfer the same content more than once from the same device to Xperia?
