  2. Chapter 7 Quiz • There are three phases in the socialization process. • Anticipatory socialization is a process that occurs before entry into the organization. • Metamorphosis is a sense making stage that occurs when a new employee enters the organization.

Chapter 7 Quiz • The Encounter phase is the state reached at the completion of the socialization process. • The employment interview is one of the most widely used contexts in which new employees can be recruited or screened. • An employment interview also allows a potential employee to discover things about a prospective organization.
