ANNOUNCEMENTS • Ed, Don, Roy started robotics with multiple teams (Competition will be held here on FEB 2nd • LoreneZero Robotics team did an excellent job • Lorene- Has been working with CS4 to update the website • Sheryl- Has culinary club working with Robotics • Kim- has had a large turn out for FEA • Cara-took lead of the music foundation website • National Technical Honors Society-large turn out/volunteering for STEM/Environmental Fair, and Robotics challenges • PTSA MEETING TONIGHT WHAT SHOULD I SHARE?

DEPARTMENT GOALS • LAST YEAR: • Ensure that all students are college and career ready by using the current Maryland Common Core State Curriculum and Standards • Lesson Plans • Develop and use an effective marketing plan for all career and technology education courses and academies. • Marketing plan • Use school resources • Collaborate across CTE classes

DEPARTMENT GOALS • Increase overall and targeted population enrollment in specified career andTechnology education courses and academies. • Guidance Counselors • Promote across CTE classes • Enable students to explore their future education and careers while exposing them to possible scholarships and opportunities. • Use school resources • Promote college credits/AP • Scholarships
