Calendar Service • Initial set up / Log in • Desktop program: Oracle Calendar (9.0.4) • Web interface: http://calagenda.berkeley.edu • Access rights • Schedule meetings • Invite others • Check conflicts • View someone else’s calendar • Group View • Daily Note • For planned absences • Block out time on calendar • Replies • Reminders • Details - importance level and access level

  3. Initial set up / Log in • Open Oracle 9.0.4 • Connect to > Other > New • Server name: calagenda.berkeley.edu • Click “Lookup”. When populated click “Okay”. • Highlight calagenda.berkeley.edu, select “make default” • “Okay” • Connect to > Username > Password • Hint: use this tool to search for another user

  4. Initial Login • At initial login “In-Tray” opens and shows • New entries • Entries you’ve accepted • Entries you’ve refused • Campus holidays • Your own agenda opens • Ctrl-A to open your own (or someone else’s) agenda • Access rights

  6. Schedule meetings • New Meeting • F2 or Edit > New > Meeting or Double click • Invite others – view their agenda • File > Agenda > Open or Ctrl-A • Add > User name ( to search use: ) • Add Group

New Daily Note • Use “Daily Note” for planned absences • F3 or • Right click on day and select New Daily Note or • Edit > New > Daily Note • Repeating • Add your group or your team lead • Planned time away from the office is visible to other team members • Send email to “attendees” • Block time on your calendar with a Meeting to show when you are out of the office
