  3. ATA 103 is Not intended to be all inclusive • Provides Guidance for safe storage and distribution of quality jet fuel • Identifies commonly recognized industry inspection procedures and safety checks • To be used with Local, State and Federal Regulations

Pilots responsibility • NEVER IN MY CAREER HAS A TENANT ASKED TO VIEW OUR QA RECORDS • DON’T BE AFRAID TO ASK TO SEE THE DAILY INSPECTION REPORT OR ANY OTHER REPORT • Always tell line personnel your aircraft’s registration number, what type of fuel your aircraft requires, and which tanks to fuel. • Then verify that the correct fuel is being provided. • Ensure that your fuel placards are Although Jet A fuel and avgas have distinct odors, colors, and evaporation properties, remember that a visual check alone may not detect that Jet A fuel and avgas have been mixed.
