  1. Sean Kelly MEP Sean Kelly is a MEP representing the South of Ireland. Sean was elected into the E.U on June 8th, 2009.Sean was born on the 26th of April, 1952 in County Kerry. Sean is a member of the Fine Gael party. Sean was awarded MEP of the year in 2012. Sean travels to Dublin on a Monday morning and catches a flight to Brussels, Belgium. Sean spends 3 weeks out of the month in Brussels. Sean Kelly understands the needs of communities in Munster. Sean is very into sport and believes that sport plays an important role in bringing countries together. Sean is a former President of the GAA and is a strong supporter of a GAA club in Brussels. Sean was meant to be one of the Fine Gael members to run for President in 2011 but decided not to. Sean believes that the most important thing the government can do is provide jobs to allow people to be able to work , live and raise a family in any part of the country. Sean is very involved in the E.U. having spoken in sessions 529 times and asked over 300 questions in sessions to date. By Adam McInerney and Matt Hogan
