NDIA SE Architecture Committee 2012 Tasks Deliverables / Products • Make recommendations regarding NDIA SED 2012 Task # 4: DoDAF improvements, architecture re-use, system hierarchies • Work with the SoS and M&S committees to address Task # 5: Visualization for mission info exchanges • Provide input to the Metrics working group to address Task # 8: Architecture metrics • Task #4 Report, including an executive summary • Section of PSM Metrics Working Group report • NDIA SE Conference papers on Task # 4 and Task # 8 findings Schedule Stakeholders / Alignment • Committee meetings in DC area in April, June, August, aligned with SE Division meetings • Task working groups meet virtually bi-weekly • Architecture track at NDIA SE Conference • Working Joint Tasks with: • SoS committee • Mission Analysis committee • Metrics working group • Working with DoD CIO

NDIA SE Architecture Committee Status • Task # 4: • A small working group, led by Steve Dam, Spec Innovations, working the planned deliverable • Abstract approved for Oct SE Conference • Task # 8: • SE Architecture committee is participating in the PSM Industry Architecture Measurement Working Group, including the July workshop • The Workshop resulted in the consensus that architecture is measureable and validated categories of measures • A preferred set of base measures was voted on and is being integrated into ICTM tables • Abstract approved for Oct SE Conference
