  2. Who are the Pashtuns?Found: Basic cultural overview The word “Afghan” historically has been used to designate the members of an ethnic group. Pashtuns tribes in the middle of the eighteen century.

  3. What is Pashtunwali?Found: Pashtunwali Code These rules are responsible for the survival of he Pashtuns tribes for over 2000 years. Which means the way of Pashtuns, rules and regulations and laws of Pashtuns tribes which protected the world biggest tribal society.

  4. On what cultural values does the Pashtunwali code place most importance Found: Pashtunwali Code BADAL – (Eye for an Eye) In fact Pashtuns consider themselves equal if not better than his fellow tribesmen and an insult.

  5. What does it mean to be an outsider in Afghan society? Why are people excluded? What does this exclusion look like?Found: The outsiders • Hazara are the outsiders they have different believes in their religions compared to Pashtuns. They also have a different appearances then Pashtuns. Hazara are largely Shiite Muslims in an overwhelmingly Sunni Muslim country. They also have a reputation for industriousness yet work the least desirable jobs.
