What’s New(PPO Plans Changes Effective September 1, 2013) • ActiveCare 1 to be discontinued 9/1/2013 (TRS reviewed plan options to insure the plans meet the health care needs of public school employees and their families. Based on this review TRS will eliminate the TRS-ActiveCare1 option for the new plan year.) • The deductibles and out of pocket maximums will increase for ActiveCare 1-HD and ActiveCare 2 • Premiums will increase

  3. ActiveCare 1 Discontinued 9/1/2013 • ActiveCare 1 plan participants will be automatically transitioned to ActiveCare 1-HD effective 9/1/2013 • ActiveCare1 plan participants must enroll to select another ActiveCare plan option or to cancel ActiveCare coverage for (2013-2014)

New ID Cards for ActiveCare Plan 1, 1-HD, and 2 Participants • All current ActiveCare 1 participants will receive replacement cards for the new plan option in which they are enrolled. • ActiveCare 1-HD and ActiveCare 2, participants will be mailed replacement prescription ID cards reflecting the upcoming changes to the benefits design. • Participants should expect to receive new cards around mid- to late-August. • Participants making changes after the replacements have been mailed will result in a second set of cards being sent.

Supplemental Term Life • Standard Insurance 2013-2014 • Rockwall ISD Provides $15,000 Life Insurance Policy • Employees can Purchase Additional Coverage • Very Affordable Group rates • Coverage amounts up to $200,000 or 5 Times Annual Salary on Employee • Coverage for Employee, Spouse, Children • Easy Underwriting Process- simple to complete; evidence of insurability form is required for all enrollments.
