  2. People do make mistake with their diet. Some of them do not eat right, and they destroy their body, and later people become sick. For example Anorexia, Bulimia, people eat and then throw up the food. What does not eating right mean? It means some people don’t eat all day just drink water or don’t eat breakfast and people think that if they skip a meal they will lose weight. Another thing that people do is drink a lot off soda. It’s a big mistake because it is full of sugar. We should drink a lot of water especially when we exercise. We need to exercise at list 3-4 times a week to be healthy, strong and feel better. You can even walk every day; it is good for your body.

  3. How to Eat and Lose Weight A healthy diet should be based on a combination of complex carbohydrates, fiber and lean proteins, and include five portions of fruit and vegetables a day. You also need to pay attention to the liquids you consume: caffeine, alcohol and fizzy drinks should be drunk in moderation. Here I will show you how to act right with food and in your everyday life. It is so amazing that it will help your body to be healthy and strong and especially beautiful. The 9 steps you need to know are: Eat more! Low fat foods rather than junk food, add a lot of vegetables and fruits also drinking bouillon will help you feel full. Exercise every day! This is the most difficult step to follow for people, but you can start slowly. For example, today you will walk for 10 minutes, repeat this for the whole week. For the next week, double your workload. You may get leaner that way! Feed your temptations once in a while Go ahead and have that doughnut or slice of pizza, but before you do, drink a few glasses of water and eat a bowl of raw veggies Consume things that have no calories The more you drink water and eat fiber the better off you will be. If you eat Ranch dressing, you eat 200 calories that is too much you can have a different way to be full and healthy. You can eat salad with vegetables with low or no-calories. Also eat more celery; it is so good for you because it has only 8 calories, but amazingly, it takes more than 8 calories to digest it. So, you actually burn calories by eating celery!!!

  4. 5. Have broth-based soups They are relatively low in calories. If you will eat soup it much better then meal shakes or nutrition bars, and soup always good to your stomach. 6. Practice good eating habits The most important thing to do when we eat is to sit at the table. Do not forget to eat slowly and stop when you feel full, if you cannot stop, drink up! Another good thing to do is to go shopping with friend or play games . You know when we are kids we always running and playing and we have a lot of energy, but when we grow up we get so lazy. It is not right, we always need to be full of energy and run and walk even when we are 90 years old or even 100. 7. Spread out your diet Eatmore small chunks of meals, rather than 3 big meals. If you eat 100-150 calories or so every two hours, your body stays in a higher-metabolism digesting mode. This allows you to burn more calories than eating just 3 meals a day. 8. Record what you eat This is a simple yet very powerful exercise to open your eyes to see whether you are keeping up with the dieting plan. 9. Make vegetables a major part of your diet plan Studies have shown that vegetables can play an important loss in losing weight. This is because vegetables are high in water and fiber and low in energy density.

  5. Why diets don't work? Dieting is so popular that in the past 10 years it’s estimated that around 70 per cent of the adult female population and 30 per cent of all adult males have been on one. So, why don't diets work? Diets are hard to do: changing something that is second nature to us very often results in stress - especially if that change is at odds with the habits of those in our social and family world. Dieting is also hard because it relies on our willpower to keep us on the right track. Sometimes when you go out with friends you afraid from difficult situation and you hope your willpower hold up and punish yourself if it doesn’t. Diets make you feel hungry and deprives- everyone know that no matter what size you are you always will be hungry on your diet especially when you see sugar and fat. Dieters also have managed feeling of deprivation like “if he can why I cannot?!” Dieter’s lapse and collapse- a diet only work for as long as you are on it. Most people get bored with eating plans. Some people trying to find the diet they will like, so they go from one to another but such a diet doesn’t exist, and they may end up bigger each time they try. Some people are not very strong with the diet they sometimes break the rules and saying to themselves “tomorrow I will start over”. Diets fail to address the emotional aspect of overeating- people often eat to help deal with emotional problems, rather than because they’re hungry. This is normal but some people gain weight because they turn to food for emotional comfort. Dieters usually fail to change their core habits- The only people who lose weight and keep it off are those who make permanent changes to their own eating and exercise habit dieters too often say or think things like: “when I will lost this weight I will go out and celebrate with cream cake” how say such things like that, they will came back the way they was before. Lifestyle, not diet- for long-term weight loss, not just your nutritional habits will have to change.

  6. What kind of superstars did mistakes with the diet?! Muscle and Strength: What are some of the mistakes you're made in the realm of training and diet/nutrition, and what did you learn from them? Obi Obadike: The mistakes I have learned in training in the past is less is better than more. In the past, I would train 2 to 3 hours a day 7 days a week and I would never give my body rest to recuperate. I over-trained for so many years and I never really listened to my body in terms of if I was feeling sore. I always used to hit the weights so hard even when my body was saying take a break and that is something that is detrimental to muscle growth. It wasn't until about 4 to 5 years until I really started to train smarter and more efficiently. I went from training 3 hours a day, 7 days a week, to 4 to 5 days a week at 90 minutes. Also, in the past my nutrition was very bad where I ate a lot of junk food and eating healthy wasn't a consistent thing. Now I try to eat healthy as much as possible and cheat on the weekends.  I eat good 5 days a week and cheat on the weekends within moderation. If you follow a formula similar to this along with training smart you should be able to stay fit and lean all year round.

  7. With her svelte figure and round face, Kirsten Dunst is all girl-next-door perfection, but she stays in shape by following the latest celeb diet doing the rounds in Hollywood. Her diet: the acid base diet, which impacts on weight, tone and skin radiance. The idea is that if you watch the pH content of what you put into your body and compensate for excess acidic foods (processed food, meat, fish, grains and cereals) with alkaline foods (fruit, veg, green tea, soya and plant oils) you'll lose weight. You eat 70% alkaline and 30% acid. Our expert says: "It's true that too much processed, fatty, sugary food acidifies our bodies. Opting for alkalizes over acids will improve the body's function; improve your shape and health in general. This diet can contribute to weight loss, but only if you control your portions and get the balance right. So it can work, but as with any diet, stuffing yourself with too much of the 'right' foods won't make you thin!" The ageless Sharon Stone, who turns 50 this year, has a figure most 20-year-olds would envy. Her diet: GI (glycaemix index). Sharon follows Canadian dietician Rick Gallop's version of GI, which is a system used to rank carbs according to their glycaemic index or speed at which they're aborbed by the body (red foods have a high GI and are cut out, yellows have a moderate GI and are limited, and greens have a low GI and are privileged). This is used alongside a balanced diet containing protein, fruit, veg and starch. Our expert says: "Eating low instead of high GI foods is a good slimming stretegy and good for your health, because it avoids blood sugar lows that cause snacking and fat storage. As long as you keep the rest of your diet balanced, like Sharon does (by eating protein, dairy and moderate quantities of fat), this is a healthy eating plan."

  8. It seems the nation’s women hang on Oprah’s every word. She had the famed Dr. Oz on the show while talking about how she lost weight (again), and proclaimed that the acai berry had amazing antioxidant properties. That’s when things got crazy. Winfrey and Oz have since sued over the false claims that have blown up our e-mail inboxes and cluttered the Internet’s ad space. It’s just a berry. Don’t depend on it.

  9. Small changes can make a big difference. After researching and reading a lot of information, the best way to live a long and healthy life is to follow a healthy lifestyle. This includes exercise, choosing healthy foods like vegetables and fruits, and not missing meals. Skipping meals is a common thing people do to try and lose weight. Many people have different reasons why?! They don’t eat breakfast, but it is important to eat breakfast to start our metabolism for the day, if people skip breakfast their metabolism will be lower, and they will have less energy. Our body uses food for energy. To lose weight, we need to get our body to use up stored fat. The most effective way to do this is to reduce the amount of calories we eat and to increase our levels of activity. Another thing I found interesting is that if you walk every day for 20 minutes your life will be better and more healthy. Even if you hate the gym doing light exercise such as short 20 minutes walks will be beneficial if you done most days of the week. Every single time you exercise more then usual, you burn calories and fat. Eat well live longer
