  2. Outcomes • Learn fitness ideas that can easily be implemented into your classes. • Learn ways your students can create their own fitness activities and take ownership of their learning! • Create fitness activities that address components of health-related fitness.

  3. Dice Challenge • Roll the 2 dice • Add dice together and do the stated exercise • Repeat with the next team member rolling

  4. Create Your Own Dice Challenge • Fill in the blank chart • Fitness activity • Quantity • Include activities that target the following: • Cardio-respiratory endurance • Muscular endurance • Muscular strength

  5. Health-Related Fitness Circuit ??? ??? Push-up

  6. Fitness Song Challenges • “Thunderstruck” by ACDC • Burpee challenge • “Thunder” by Imagine Dragons • Squat challenge • “Cha-Cha Slide” by DJ Casper • Plank challenge

  7. Fitness 3000 Challenge • 4-6 students per group • Set time limit (ex. 30 minutes) • Team must collaborate and work together as a group to complete the 3000 exercises • Work at each station together, divide stations up, etc.

  8. Fitness Task Sheet • Perform the activities in the order of your choice • Set designated time limit • When an activity has been completely finished record in the right column the component(s) of health-related fitness • Could record different things: muscles, skill-related fitness, etc. • May be done individually, in pairs, or in small groups
