  2. In the wake of the recent claims of an illegal beach mineral mining scam the Central Government has issued a blanket ban of the mining of heavy minerals mining. http://vvmineralblog.wordpress.com

  3. Industry forerunner VV Minerals Vaikundarajan is of the opinion that this blanket ban is not helping much to curb illegal mining activities but rather harming the country’s economy in more ways than one. http://vvmineral.wordpress.com

  4. The ban on heavy mineral mining company is costing the country the large revenue that heavy mineral mining rakes in. http://vvmineralmining.wordpress.com

  5. A blanket ban as this one is bound to push mining companies to the hilt of desperation and possibly foster larger scams. http://vvmineral-mining.blogspot.in

  6. The state governments of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa and Kerala are also taking hit on revenue. http://vvmineralmining.blogspot.in

  7. On issues such as sand erosion, heavy mineral extraction uses just 20% of the total sand amassed and the rest of the 80% sand is returned to the beaches or shores. http://vvmineralmining.wordpress.com

  8. VV Minerals Mining is of the strong opinion that this ban be lifted and that the companies be allowed to mine again. Not just for daily minerals but heavy minerals as well. http://vvmineral-mining.blogspot.in

  9. Some of the effective measures that the Government of India could consider and effectively lift the ban are of declaring a consolidated list of importable and listed minerals. Along with a list of necessary licenses and peripheral clearances necessary to undertake heavy mineral mining in India, concludes VV Mineral Mining http://vvmineralmining.blogspot.in
