  1. Let’s talk about anxiety in women and how to cope with it These feelings need immediate attention. It is not a thing that could be hidden or be afraid of. From inside, you might feel like it is a disaster. On the surface, the problem is much smaller, and when you realize you might think, what a fool I was? But again, the next time you have such a situation you fall back in your trap, you are lost in a bubble of melancholy and fear and anxiety. WHAT IS ANXIETY? Anxiety is a common term used for general anxiety, social anxiety, obsessive- compulsive disorder, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, separation anxiety disorder, illness anxiety disorder, and phobias. Imagined situations that may not occur, emotional reactions, in general, are known as anxiety. It can cause physical symptoms in people like anxiety attacks, headaches, nausea, dizziness, and shortness of breath.

  2. Studies show that there are twice most likely anxiety disorders among women than men. The most common mental illness in the US is anxiety. In a 2013 study, about 8.2 million people were suffering from anxiety. There are different levels of anxiety; some people have a manageable or mild disorder, while others can face a serious effect on the quality of living. In contrast, some people rectify it and lead a healthy life while others tend to keep living with it. Anxiety hampers an individual’s ability to lead a healthy life. If you are a woman with some severe anxiety, and you know it deep inside, let us dig deeper into female anxiety and depression to fight it out. ANXIETY IN WOMEN: Either you sit there with a plain face or do weird things to people around you, they are all signs of stress in women they have no control over. It is like you walk in a room full of people and seems like each expression; each word people blurt out is triggered to you. If an ordinary person experiences this, she would either react or silently contemplate. Well, imagine that happening to people each day, every moment. When a person notices such behaviour, he/she might think the person is overdramatic. The truth is she either needs to speak out or need help. The disorder is quite horrible for the sufferer. People feel hard to open up in public. A person feeling anxious will find her safe haven that will ultimately slow her down. Eventually, it never stops! To all the people who feel this – Please, do not think you are not an average person. Deal with your FOMO. Take ownership and work towards a solution since shutting down what you feel will not help. HOW TO DEAL WITH ANXIETY? There are two ways to deal with the anxiety that is medication and psychotherapy sessions. But before taking the big step, you need to acknowledge that you have such a problem and make small changes.
