  8. High School Pageants • The biggest thing I learned from the pageant was the importance of being myself and being real. No one likes a person that tries to be someone they're not! And when you’re yourself, that’s when you’re the most confident (Becca Smith, Miss Peachtree Ridge 2010). • Doing the pageant gave me courage I never even knew I had!   10. Conclusion Kiddie pageants- more harm than good High School pageants- extremely beneficial Higher Level Pageants- beneficial in some aspects harmful in others
