  3. Breast Cancer Screening benefits overstated Gotzsche and Jorgensen • Women undergoing screening are misinformed about drawbacks • Its effectiveness is overstated • Survival rates are due to better treatment • Over-diagnosis leads to unnecessary mastectomy • Called for ‘honesty’ in the NHS
