Overview • Student run, week long gadgeting/hacking competition • Form teams of 2-4 students (at least one ECE major) • Come up with a project idea • If your project can hurt others, don’t build it! • If your project is not legal, don’t build it! • If your project may be frowned upon by Andrew Carnegie, CMU administration, or other students, don’t build it! • Develop parts list • On a budget (~$250 in the past)

Overview (Contd.) • Submit application to the officers • We give you feedback, suggest additional parts, design modifications etc. • Parts will arrive over winter break • Pick up parts Saturday before Spring classes start • Build week! • Hack support • Tech talks • Demo day – Friday • Post exhibition dinner with sponsors • (more information – next meeting)
