Bright Macau casinos and atmospherically tradition structures are exactly what lots of people contain in thoughts when imagining Macau, yet the city's best noticeable image and traveler destination is literally the Macau Tower that was constructed way back at the start of the 2000s and had nearly overnight turned into one of Macau main destinations. Macau Tower came over to the planet about the turn of the centuries, shortly after the city's casino-mogul, Dr. Stanley Ho, headed to Auckland, New Zealand around 1998 and found its then new inaugurated tower. The billionaire came with almost promptly thought he is intending to construct a quite similar tower in Macau, by having just one difference. The one he aimed to construct was getting to be much bigger.

Beca Group, the similar engineering organization which took care of Auckland Tower, was offered the job, and in the end of 2001, shortly after 3 years of development and an extensive financial investment, the tower was opened up to the community. Basing on an area of reclaimed property at the most southern tip of the Macau Peninsula, Macau Tower rises up to an elevation of 338 meters over ground and is among the world's highest free standing buildings. Rather expectedly, remarkable scenes are just what a lot of travelers come over to Macau Tower. Currently there are a couple of view decks at the tower: the outside deck is set down at an elevation of 233 meter over ground and the a lot higher of the 2, while at the same time the leading view deck is somewhat much lower 223 meter over ground, yet even though its missing in elevation, it develops for having a glass floor that makes you feel like you have vertigo.

The chef prepares a variety of authentic Portuguese, Chinese, Macanese and Indian specialties that nicely reflect the ethnic and cultural diversity of this charming city. Macau Tower is also the right place for those of you who want to test their nerves and fear of height. Other than priding itself as the current location of the world's highest bungee jump, the tower is also one of the only places on earth where you can actually climb on the mast, all the way to the very top. Other mind-boggling activities you can try here include walking around the outer rim of the tower with no handrails, or the "Sky jump". All you need is a strong heart and a wallet full of cash, as masochism doesn't come cheap, believe it or not.
